getting tired of game crashing

is this an issue that will not stop? 3 times in one night, then few time over the following days.. is the progress of play lost as well?

Hi @meh24cup. Can you share with us what are your hardware specs namely CPU, Graphic card and RAM?

It's not normal the game is crashing you 3 times in one night.

Lets investigate what could be causing it. Do you have any of the crash logs (copy-paste here the text of the crash window) to share with us?

@meh24cup Like Psycho mentioned, you should share the crash logs. Otherwise the devs won't be able to fix your issues 😛

3 times in one night is really much 😮 I might get 1 crash every two weeks.. max!

and dont forget to COPY PASTE the log.. not just send it because your not sending it to RJS team but to UE4 team as i understand it and that will not help you im afraid

I also have this issue, can be multiple times in one night (had it 6 times at one point) and then other days not at all however usually at least once a night. The only thing I've noticed is every time its happened its been the second I get killed in-game. My character falls back and mid-fall game completely freezes. I have to task manager and end task to close the game. I've never seen the option to send a crash log or save a log but is that maybe because I end task? or is there somewhere they automatically save? I've checked the game directory and can't find anything there.

i7 9700k @ 4.8ghz + Nvidia RTX 2080.

Might be that you end task... try wait To see If the Clash-log Windows Will appear.. takes some Times Sometimes

1. C:\Users\your_windows_username\AppData\Local\TaskForceElite\Saved\Crashes\  you might zip and send a particular crash folder, or alternatively:

It's first <callstack>, ending with kernel32 and ntdll lines, it's the same info that's shown by UE4 crash report window. Copy-paste that and you're good too 🙂

Thanks much, I did not know where to look for crash logs as this only started recently. 

the crash would happen as i get killed then freeze.

Can still hear game background sounds (wind blowing) not the game play eg: shooting and guy saying to "get to Zone" 

No error screen will show, have to task manager delete as well.

Rig System: Cpu: AMD FX BE  8350:  Ram: 16gb, Vcard: ROC Strix 1070  8gb. - SSD Drives. 

will look for crash logs.

Thank you for that Llama, I have found a bunch of crash logs/folders. I will paste below two of the <CallStack> snippets, there are more but will just use the latest two for now. I did quickly google search part of one of the lines and it lead me to posts other people crashing after death in UE4.

Compared to your picture, that <CallStack> for me was empty (the one below <EpicAccountID>). Which is why I pasted the one just below that. However further down the log there is another <CallStack> with a IsCrashed>True statement. I'll quote it below:

No problem! Hope it helps. Actually... I just literally crashed instantly after my first death in the game today lol so I thought i'd upload another log here so you have a more recent one to analyse. Log: CrashLog1.runtime-xml

Edit: Just happened again - same scenario, got killed then game froze as my character fell backwards.
Another log: CrashLog2.runtime-xml

Edit2 (lol): Just crashed again after getting killed. Log: CrashLog3.runtime-xml

Seems like a bad night lol but this is what happens... sometimes I can crash once a night then other times it'll be multiple. It's only in this game too. Usually tho if it happens once it'll keep happening. Bizarre.

I'll stop posting them now as I'm sure this is sufficient.

Hey Vexed, sorry about the issue. It seems to me that scroll down is used when the freeze happened. Can you let me know, what weapons were you using, were those weapons allowed on server, did you try to scroll down when you were killed ? Thanks

Nevermind, I manage to replicate myself by scrolling my mouse like madness the moment im killed :D In the mean time, can you try not to scroll too frequently, i know it's hard but at least that keeps you from crashing. I'll deploy a patch in a few days. Cheers

That's great I'm glad you have managed to figure it out. Yesterday I was about to climb a ladder, someone shot at me but I had my knife out so i scrolled to pistol to then turn around and shoot but I died the second I switched weapon and then instantly froze/crashed. 

Tends to be the case now I think about it, I could be running across an open space with knife out - I get shot at... scroll to my gun and die then crash. I don't scroll after I die but possibly milliseconds before dying. However... there was a time I crashed whilst proned out in the hills with a sniper, I got shot and crashed. Wasn't switching weapons as I was around 1200m out and proned. Yet I still crashed. Maybe that was a one-off, I'm not sure. 

Glad you was able to replicate it and find this issue tho, a friend also had this so I'll let them know a fix is on the way! Thank you.
